ok. so. we’ve established that they’re doing Grease. Judging by the setup, i’m assuming “Summer Nights”. Now, don’t get me wrong, I love Chord and I love Amber. But the fact that they’re making Sam ‘Danny’ & Mercedes ‘Sandy’ pretty much makes me want to stab myself in the jaw.
WHY? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?! You FINALLY do Grease and you’ve got Mercedes as Sandy? I’m sorry, but that’s kind of insulting to Amber. Sandy isn’t a powerhouse. Her voice is VERY demure. Amber brings the fucking house down every time she opens her mouth. Sandra Dee couldn’t bring a house down with the entire Extreme Home Makeover crew.
Le sigh. I’m sure it’ll make sense to the story. What the fuck am I saying? It’s GLEE. It will serve absolutely no purpose and no one will even remember it by the end of the episode.
